Fandom-Specific Likes/Ideas:
- Obviously, anything with this ship means Starrk survives his canon death. I usually headcanon him coming back during the Blood War just in time to save Shunsui from that last shot courtesy of the Sternritter, and then they go from there, but I'm good with anything so long as he lives.
- Powerful!Starrk. The Kubo Q&A about how even Aizen didn't dare approach Starrk until Starrk had split his soul and stunted his power and Aizen got his hands on the Hougyoku lives rent free in my head, so I always think that if Starrk had managed to survive his battle with Shunsui, he would've come back way stronger. Plus his powers just have so much potential for development. And even with his powers stunted, I think he would've pushed Shunsui even harder if he wasn't at least passively suicidal the entire time.
- Starrk and Shunsui are about the same age, they're my old man yaoi ship, both a thousand years old and tired and lonely and only less lonely with each other. Would love something that leans into that kind of trauma, of never having any kind of companionship, of always being the last one left behind, of that instant connection they found in each other even when they were still trying to kill each other.
- Character A Finds Traumatized Character B in the Middle of a Dissociative Episode - I headcanon that Starrk dissociates a lot, like what else can you do when you're forced to spend a thousand years in a wasteland with no one to talk to and nothing to do? Dissociating to kill some time would practically be a self-defense measure, and I imagine he wouldn't be able to just stop even after he gets to leave Hueco Mundo.
- Character Has Scars From Traumatic Event - Starrk would definitely have a few scars from surviving Shunsui, the one that nearly bisected him would probably be the worst one since it even cut through his Hollow hole. Then there's Shunsui with his eye and maybe the slapdash operation he would've had to go through when C46 embedded Muken's keys into his heart.
- Trapped in a Dreamworld Made of Traumatic Memories - Except it's just a barren desert Starrk "wakes" in, thinking that that's the real world because it's what he's long used to. Maybe Shunsui follows him in and has to find him and convince him to go back/wake up.
- Traumatized Characters Have Trouble Sleeping Apart After Shared Traumatic Captivity - I love the literal sleeping together trope, and throwing in some angst and trauma is even better. Maybe Aizen deems Starrk too dangerous so instead of recruiting him, he kills off Lilynette instead and takes him captive for experiments, and then later, maybe Aizen wins, maybe the war is longer than it was in canon, but Shunsui gets captured too, and they meet.
- Traumatised character isn't used to receiving gentleness - Definitely had Starrk in mind when I picked this, pairs well with my absolute favourite trauma symptom of touch aversion + touch starvation.
Fandom-Specific DNWs:
- Starrk being much younger than Shunsui or both of them being super young (relatively speaking, for Shinigami/Hollows).

Fandom-Specific Likes/Ideas:
- I prefer post-war Percy because there's a lot to play with there, especially with war trauma galore. He's the black sheep of the family, the one who never quite fit and then - he probably felt - was replaced by Harry. Despite the apology right before the final battle (and note that only he apologized, his family didn't), I don't think everything would've just turned out magically okay again, especially since the family dynamic between him and his family wasn't exactly okay to begin with, what with his siblings either making fun of him or not really having anything to do with him, his mom was proud of him but also constantly compared his siblings to him, and I felt like he and his dad were pretty distant even before Percy stormed out in Harry's fifth year. So TLDR they wouldn't have returned to one big happy family post-war, especially with Fred's death hanging over them. I'd love to see anything with Percy accepting the "fact" that his family is better off without him around, that things are easier that way, so like he's still willing to answer owls and floo-calls but regular dinner invites are just out of politeness, and he isn't going to easily believe otherwise. I'd also like to see his siblings acknowledging that Percy wasn't the only one at fault and finally putting in the work to make him feel less like an outsider in his own family.
- Trauma Symptom - Survivor Guilt - I would love to see Percy and George grow closer in the aftermath of Fred's death. Percy definitely feels guilty for "letting" Fred die since it happened practically right in front of him, and maybe if he'd just kept his mouth shut, Fred wouldn't have been distracted, etc. George isn't doing well without his twin, and the rest of the family has enough on their plate and can't seem to get through to George anyway, so maybe Percy starts visiting the joke shop every week, blustering his way in with excuses about Ministry work related to the floo or permits or whatever and then taking care of George the way he often took care of the twins when they were growing up, when their parents were too busy with Ron and Ginny, and Bill and Charlie were too busy with school. On George's side, he's grieving too hard to really resist, but eventually maybe he starts noticing that even though Percy comes by the shop like clockwork every week, he avoids the rest of the family whenever he can, he talks less, he looks like he's sleeping and eating less and somehow working even more, and slowly he realizes that it feels a lot like he's lost more than just one brother, except that isn't going to happen on his watch.
- Healing From Trauma Via Time With Cat(s) - The idea of Percy just adopting cats who'd lost their homes/families post-war is amusing to me. Also gains him a rotating door of siblings crashing on his floor with his dozen cats whenever life gets to be too much.
- Character Goes Through A Similar Experience to What Traumatized Them in the Past // Characters Are Traumatized After A is Forced to Watch B Being Tortured - Maybe some Death Eaters still at large decide to attack a Weasley as revenge, maybe they ambush the joke shop and Percy happens to be in, and it's like history repeating itself except it's George about to die this time, and Percy goes a little crazy after that. Maybe he gets hurt jumping in front of George, maybe he adds half a dozen people to his kill count that day, or maybe they're both captured because the Death Eaters want to have some fun or they need info about Harry that George might know so Percy gets tortured to make him talk. However it goes, there's no walking away from this without a new round of trauma.
- In an AU where Fred does survive, there's still the trauma of nearly dying, of watching someone you love almost die, to deal with. I also just think the relationship between Percy and the twins is interesting to explore. They were the first to step forward the moment Percy apologized. I think no matter how mad they were at him, they might've also done some self-reflection on their own behaviour, and it wouldn't be in their nature to leave that unspoken in the aftermath once they have time to talk to Percy about everything.
- I also added the Bill & Percy tag because I just like Bill lol. I haven't written their dynamic myself yet so I'd be happy to see what you can come up with. Bill is the eldest, and of course he shouldn't have to put his life on hold to look after his siblings or anything, but he also didn't have much interest in their lives over the years, especially not Percy's, so how would he react to Percy growing more and more distant post-war? Or another starting point could be Bill's werewolf symptoms worsening post-war, and Percy's never met an academic problem he couldn't crack.
- As for Percy/Oliver, I headcanon them as roommates and close friends, it doesn't actually have to be a romantic relationship, I'm cool with either. Roommates AU post-war, where Oliver shoulders his way back into Percy's life because it's been made clear to him that Percy doesn't do well left on his own. And they both fought in the war so there's plenty of nightmares and bouts of insomnia to struggle with together.
Fandom-Specific DNWs:
- Percy being the only one at fault (though he can feel like he was).
- Post-canon timeline for Percy (the random wife and kids in particular). Not too thrilled with George's either, largely ambivalent about the rest, but Percy's the hard no in fics like this for me.

Fandom-Specific Likes/Ideas:
- Byakuran/Tsuna/Yuni are practically soulmates, meant to anchor each other, but all born in the wrong places and at the wrong times. So I'd love to see any AU where it's them against the world and they're all the stronger for it. Give me all the Bya/Tsuna/Yuni poly goodness, platonic or romantic. Flame lore if you're up for it, I just really love that implied soul connection between them and how they got along a lot better (ie. Byakuran was a lot more stable) in the final arc when they were all in the same time/generation. Maybe people are against their relationship, but they've all seen too much and lived too many timelines - especially if their Flames/powers got stronger after meeting each other and/or properly bonding - to care about what others might think. All the codependency between them.
- Tsuna having anxiety is practically canon, with an entire childhood full of bullying and isolation, and then he gets pitched head-first into the mafia. Would love to see trauma consequences of having his Flames sealed too.
- Character is Used to Ignoring Their Own Trauma - I imagine Tsuna has plenty of experience ignoring his own trauma from being beaten down - both figuratively and physically - and then being forced to fight and kill because he's Vongola's last resort. He's so focused on surviving that the trauma just doesn't even register.
- Traumatized Character A Only Trusts Character B - This one's a Bya/Tsuna/Yuni tag, so maybe they've all been through too much - driven mad, drugged, forced to fight and kill each other, everything a set of Tri-Ni-Sette Skies aren't supposed to do - that the only people they trust once they come out the other side of that future is each other.
- Character traumatized by death of loved one - All of Tsuna's Guardians die? His mother dies early on long before Reborn shows up because Iemitsu couldn't keep his mouth shut? Or maybe Yuni doesn't handle memories of her future self sacrificing her entire Family very well.
- Psychological toll of dying and resurrecting - This one's tailor-made for Tsuna. A bullet that doesn't
- really kill you because it brings you back to life via regrets sounds great but I imagine dying over and over again would take a toll on anyone.
- Traumatized Character Struggles With Intimacy - Tsuna isn't used to anyone caring about him, like even his own mother calls him Dame-Tsuna. Likewise he isn't used to showing affection to anyone either. I also headcanon that a side-effect of sealed Flames is muted emotions. But anyway, fast-forward to post-canon, and between him, Byakuran, and Yuni, even after they've come together in a relationship, he's the one who still struggles with initiating and accepting intimacy. Cue hurt/comfort/healing.
Fandom-Specific DNWs:
- Not really a DNW, just a note: Yuni is around ten years younger than Tsuna, who is a few years younger than Byakuran. I don't mind the age gap so no need to age anyone up or down (unless that's part of the fic premise). I do have extreme underage in my General NSFW DNWs, so just means preferably no sex for her until Yuni is 16.
