Well Kakashi is an adult now, with the ability to try and repair relationships if he wants to. Leaving him to suffer would give that sense of satisfaction but yeah I feel sorry for him - he's had a lot of shitty things happen. And Naruto is just a ball of sunshine that makes everyone's lives better, which Kakashi desperately needs.

And Orochimaru does seriously need some cuddle time, although he'd probably hiss when like a cat (or a snake lol) if someone tried to hug him for too long.
