Anko is my FAVORITE. That girl is never going to give up. 5 years!! And she's still knocking!!!
I think Naruto and Anko's plan worked EXACTLY how it was supposed to, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
Orochimaru is weirdly noble in this verse? Like he doesn't want to take Anko back not because he's afraid of what he could do to her (although he is a little), but because he wants to protect her reputation and career which is just...so sweet??? Although he acted similarly with Naruto in the beginning. He really likes teaching kids (well, kids who are worthy of his teachings, and not snot nosed brats).
And we finally see some of the divergent past! It makes sense that Minato would be more forgiving, since Orochimaru hadn't yet taken those final steps when he was discovered. And unlike Sarutobi, who can't do anything right here or in canon, actually understands how to monitor while giving a second chance.
Anyway, I'm glad Orochimaru's little family is growing! Who know what will happen next :)
