Crossing Dreams

Ohhhhh, yeah I can see how Mukuro gains Shion's trust now - though I expect it takes a hell of a long time. I like how vicious Shion is - she's utterly terrifying, and it's amazing. Did all of Mukuro's people get killed? Even Ken and... the other one? Chikusa or something? And I really liked the hint of how they formed a group - Tsubasa, and were actively destroying families that crossed them. Do they only target those that cross them directly (like trying to hurt their friends) or do they target those that cross them indirectly too (like supporting Vongola, which I assume is trying to hurt them)? Also, Reborn should have been there by now, but I didn't see any mention of him in this snippet, did the timeline change a bit because of the ripple effect? Or did they all manage to ditch Reborn? I can't imagine that being easy... Or does Reborn underestimate Shion too? If she's capable of concealing her flames from a powerful mist like Mukuro, I imagine she'd be able to conceal them from Reborn too, world's greatest hitman or not. Though it might be hard to maintain that disguise with Hibari's squad calling her 'Princess'. And I seem to recall from the main story in the AN, you mentioned you weren't sure whether or not Shion and Hibari would get along - I take it you've decided by now? They seemed to be on good terms, if Hibari's squad was deferring to her like that, though that may have been something that evolved with time. Well, anyway, great update! I look forward to the rest!
